flawless-rarity asked : ALSO FOR JOUNO AND GIMA. ☄⋆☼☾
Gima: ☄ - In a Medieval setting, Grimsley would be a gypsy living on the outskirts of town, selling wares and curses. ⋆ - He has a big thing for ‘group work’. ☼ - His father died of tuberculosis when he was two and a half years’ old. ☾- Despite the fact that he is more or less over the trauma caused by the war, Gary, Morty, god knows what else, he continues to have repeated night terrors, and isn’t sure how to get rid of them. —- Joey: ☄ - In a Medieval setting, Joey would be a blacksmith. ⋆ - Mai’s hit him more than once. He likes it. ☼ - Despite the fact that Kit, Joey’s father, was verbally abusive to all members of his family, Joey would always try to stand up for him against his mother, when he was small. That is one of the reasons why Joey went with Kit, while Serenity went with their mother, when they divorced. ☾- Joey is a very, very deep sleeper. If he can help it, he won’t wake up earlier than 3pm. >> Never Get Away: Specific Headcanons -- Go!
when i tell people i learned to draw by drawing animals and anthros/furries and have only been drawing humans for a few years, a lot of people get this sudden cold attitude about them and call me a ‘furry’. firstly; i do not consider myself a ‘furry’ or part of the furry community. i just don’t, it’s as simple as that, really. i never have, simply because my focus has primarily been on my human characters, even if i haven’t been able to draw them. secondly; why is the term ‘furry’ used as such a derogatory term? i understand it’s to do with the smut side of it. but why is there anything wrong with drawing two anthros fucking when people draw vampires fucking, or aliens fucking, or whatever other species, all the time? i understand there’s a certain degree of people honestly believing that everyone in the furry community is a zoophiliac but that’s stupid and wrong. i think a little less hate towards communities that you don’t understand would do everyone a little good.
gameboyslut asked : tamsin i have to ask you since you're a rational person and a feminist i know. do you think the people on tumblr are doing feminism the right or the wrong way?
depends on the people. there are a lot of people on tumblr who definitely do it the right way; focusing on feminism in terms of promoting the equality of women with men in society, media and employment; aiming to obliterate rape culture; promoting body and sexual awareness and support. i would say that’s the MAJORITY of feminists on tumblr. there are, however, the few who absolutely HATE men, who want women to be more than equal, and who outwardly abuse men simply for not being as oppressed as women. i, for one, think that abusing people simply because they’re not oppressed, is horrendous behaviour. the same goes for ‘straight-hate’ and ‘cis-scum’. |
